NBC Learn K-12

When you reach the NBC Learn page, you are logged in and can immediately browse and search collections. There is no need to use the "Guest, 30-Day Free Trial or Subscribe" links.

 

NBC Learn K-12 is an online educational resource that offers unique collections of video resources, primary source documents, historic footage, images, and other materials for use in the classroom. It is currently available to all Delaware public middle schools for the 2010 and 2011 school years through a generous grant by the Honda Foundation through the Delaware Foundation for Science and Mathematics Education.  It is also available to all Delaware public high schools for the 2011 school year through a matching donation by NBC Learn, the educational arm of NBC News.

NBC Learn K-12 includes:
  • More than 11,000 short, videos from the NBC News Archives and other content partners
  • K-12 videos aligned to Delaware State Standards
  • Current events updated daily
  • Award-winning original series such as Chemistry Now & Changing Planet
  • 24/7 access, from school, library or home

It is not necessary to enter a username and password to use NBC Learn in public Delaware schools or the six private schools that participate in the UDLib/SEARCH Program.

Contact the school librarian to request the username and password for home access to NBC Learn. The e-mail address for the librarian at each school can be found on the following pages:
